Isaac Preston Franklin was a beloved son, grandson, brother, and friend whose life touched far more hearts than he ever realized. He was known for a smile that could light up a room and a presence that made people feel seen, welcomed, and understood.

Isaac had a thoughtful and creative spirit, a curious mind, and a heart that loved deeply. He was a friend to the sinner, offering compassion without judgment, and he held a sincere appreciation for the saints—valuing wisdom, kindness, and faith wherever he encountered them. His warmth, creativity, and sincerity left a lasting impression on all who walked alongside him.

In the final chapters of his earthly journey, Isaac endured struggles that weighed heavily on both body and soul. Yet even in those seasons, there were moments when his heart reached toward Jesus, seeking light, direction, and rest. Scripture tells us that Christ our Lord is the Good Shepherd—who knows His sheep by name, who seeks the one who is lost, and who carries them safely home. We trust that Isaac now dwells in the presence of the Good Shepherd, where suffering has given way to peace, and where love is complete and everlasting.

Though his time with us feels far too short, Isaac’s life continues to speak through the love he shared, the laughter he sparked, and the memories that will forever be cherished. Isaac will be laid to rest at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery, Knoxville, Tennessee (37920), where family and loved ones may visit and remember him.
